I highly recommend this skillfully written romance with lovable main characters in conflict-inducing careers that are rife with comic potential. Secondly, something would happen with Jack and I would think that things were about to pick up and then everything would fizzle out. I surrender to the situations I find myself in. I lost respect for him and the relationship fell apart. How come you freaked out when I touched your stomach? You might pick up a few clues about whether he really is a keeper or not. He knows that you are a strong and independent woman and that you are capable of getting things done on your own.

I thought there was a little bit of suspense. The Morrison family does not want Jack in jail, or in any trouble. I just couldn't stay interested in the story. There's too much that the reader has to believe each of these characters will accept as plausible to make this story work. But fear not, cliffhanger haters. She is a high powered Corporate Attorney for a real estate firm. I was provided a copy by Hidden Gems.
Candace just wants to keep her job. Just give him a chance to grow. Jack grew up in that rich, lavish life, and preferred to be the one fighting the good fight. The main story is clearly resolved and this was just meant as a bit of a teaser of what is to come should you decide to continue with the series.
